"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."

The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to food and shopping markets, restaurants, bars and tourist areas, and has a metro subway close by. "I loved this hotel! Walking in from the intense summer heat and humidity, i was immediately greeted by cool air conditioning and a very plesant spa like fragrance in the air. Staff were excellent and helpful and the rooms are extrememly clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, a huge mall right next door! Becareful when ubering back as there are multiple Daiwa hotels in the area."
