"We were staying here because our bathroom is being renovated and will definitely stay again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a brilliant shower that I did not have to faff around with adjusting, just turned on and it was the perfect temperature. The underfloor heating makes the room very warm although one can open the windows. In kinder weather, there are chairs outside each of the rooms to sit on and enjoy a drink or smoke, and the pub...

"Staff were incredible and helpful for all our requests including local landmarks, the room was very clean. My only feedback would be there there seemed to be a certain ventilator fan hum throughout the night ; we got used to that but the establishment might want to check that - Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Really friendly friendly staff throughout the hotel, nice selection of food for breakfast, unfortunately the food temperature was not piping hot, could do with better warmers for breakfast food selection. Dinner was very nice, would recommended Haddock and chips. The room we stayed in (131) had a smell of drains which was very unpleasant on arrival to the room."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Lakes by Yoo. Everything was clean and well designed and the pool and spa facilities were good. Most importantly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with our original room so they kindly upgraded us to a suite for our final night, which we weren't able to stay in as we had to leave due to a family emergency, but the gesture was greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again in the future! "

"A/c unit not working in the room. Room changed, however the a/c unit is noisy - wakes you up in the night. If you don’t have it on then it’s too cold. Breakfast was ok, wouldn’t recommend the cheese, had been sitting for hours and sweating and looked unappetising. Please be aware you need to pay additional for parking. Also they will charge you for an upgrade, 1st time I’ve had to pay for an upgraded room. Rooms are only cleaned if requested. Looks like they are calling back and made this a...
