The biggest issue by far is the railway line immediately next to the lodges. Trains pass extremely frequently, including late into the night and again early in the morning. "A dated hotel that has been quite well maintained, despite it's age. Elevator was an issue, thankfully we didn't have too many heavy bags with us. An olde world bar/restaurant hotel, with plenty of FREE parking, and within easy walking distance of the village."

"We only stayed for 1 night with our dogs, the grounds of the hotel are stunning with lovely views. We were only given 1 bottle of water for our room, when booking I was advised the additional supplement for pets would ensure plenty water in the room, this was not the case but we had plenty with us anyway so didn't see the point in mentioning it.
