"Newport was busy as there was a conference being held at the time of my stay. My usual hotel was fully booked so I stayed at the Belvilla, I could only book the assisted room as it was all that was available. It was very clean with a nice size bed which was very comfortable, room was clean and well presented. Good quality bed linen and towels, loads of coffee and tea . "Brilliant stay, staff accommodation. Breakfast not very organised, no cups, milk etc. Nothing topped up or checked regularly. We had to keep asking for things but staff didn't acknowledge with a smile would just walk off and get what was needed. Not what you expect from a hotel of this standard. Overall would stay again but unsure if we would book breakfast! "

"Loved our stay here. Really great location for attending an event at principality stadium. Also great location for shopping and restaurants. Noticed the bar opposite was a bit noisy into the night. Bit confusing getting to the car park but after ringing the hotel and getting pre recorded instructions and postcode we found it no problem. Staff were very helpful and happy. Not sure if there are stairs to lobby as we only found the emergency exit ones but waiting for lift can take a while. Overall...

"From the excellent welcome by the reception staff to the bar, restaurant and room staff it was faultless. The breakfast was of good quality and hot. The only comment would be that the shower did not drain quickly enough and I have liked to have been able to cast films from my iPad to the tv."
