"The carpet floor in our room needed cleaning. When I had arrived I had explained briefly to the receptionist that I'm here for my mum's funeral the two nights I stayed at this hotel I couldn't sleep well . I then had try to get over my mum's funeral. I needed rest before I start my long journey back home to Suffolk. I Sadly left I hour and thirty minutes later leaving my room by not leaving by 11.am.I went to the reception to explain my situation regarding my bereavement of my loss of my mum. I had no sympathy from the reception when I left and I had to pay a late search charge of £10.00 not happy."

"Lovely stay at the Liner. Position perfect, a bit noisy through the night as windows don’t seem to keep it out, but that’s a city for you- road sweepers traffic and sirens. Happy hour at the attached public bar was good value 4-6pm at 2 for 1 😊 Breakfast was good."

"A little difficult to find. The car parks are spread out around the building so it was possible to find a space even when the part in front of the hotel was full. The hotel is a little dated but is a perfectly pleasant, and relatively cheap, place to stay."

"No shops nearby but chosen for proximity to Everton Stadium and Albert Dock short drive away"

"Ideally located as it was close to Newsham Park Orphanage where our ghost hunt was but also town centre and Albert docks just a short drive away, staff were lovely, great complimentary breakfast, and comfy beds. Will definitely be back. Thank you!"
