We received a lovely welcome of scones and tea on arrival - which was very much appreciated after a difficult visit to a care home. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. "The lady who checked me in was excellent, very courteous and helpful. Amenities were very good, and room was clean. Bed was comfortable, my pillow was too soft, but that is a personal observation and choice. Overall an excellent choice!!"

"This hotel has a nearly five hundred year history that is lovingly preserved by its friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Centrally located in Glastonbury, it is a cosy community space frequented by locals and pilgrims alike. The hotel is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink in its bar or spend the night in one of its comfortable rooms. As to whether it is haunted, well, stay the night and find out for yourself. Either way, It is a genuine pleasure."

"Great location, but overly hot with hard to control heating and a little tired and dated. Access to the large parking area is very tight. Not practical if you drive a 4x4"
