"The location is ideal – right in the city centre. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has its own large paid parking for £17 per day. The rooms are a bit dated. Outside, it was extremely hot during our trip. The room's built-in air conditioning, despite being set to the lowest possible setting (+18°C), was blowing hot air. The windows wouldn't open, making it impossible to sleep."

"Staff friendly and helpful on Check in , the rooms and bathrooms definitely need updating which didn’t include breakfast so was quite steep for one night . No air con so it was really hot in the rooms . It was a good location , no complaints there but I think the room fee was too much considering how much they need modernising ."

"Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "Communication was excellent. Easy to access with information provided. Room was immaculate. Has everything you need and the bed was really comfortable. Would stay again as felt so relaxing."

"We found this room disappointing and not worth the price of the room. It was very dark, not particularly clean and very basic. I would say the bathroom is fine! We did request another room, however we were asked to pay more to move. The breakfast wasn’t great, and we both left the majority of the hot food. I would put it on par with a travelodge. The service was poor and slow at the bar. The views are good, but only if on one side of the hotel, sadly we weren’t on that side. I wouldn’t stay...

"Stay was ok. Location couldn’t be more convenient. Only issue was I expected Ibis to be more like a Premier Inn, but is was like Travelodge: very basic room with a plasticky bathroom."

"Ok clean and location was good . I stayed in a ground floor room facing the gravelled car park . The heat wave meant I needed to open the windows. Cars parked right outside my window was not great sadly. Very hot conditions. Couldn’t open curtains in the morning to get dressed due to lack of privacy . People leaving and arriving in the car park."
