"Lovely stay. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. We were treated like VIPs - even our dog got his own bowls, bed and goodie bag. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but with great modern comforts (air-con especially welcome during the recent heatwave). The Classic room we stayed in was huge as was the bathroom. All in all a great stay. Thank you! "

"We had a great stay. It was a city break with my two children and we really enjoyed the experience. The CoalShed has real character and was a great place to hang out with my kids and use as a base to explore all the great stuff on offer in Bristol. We loved the games facilities and the 'honesty bar', which is a great idea and was definitely welcome in the evening. The communal area is great for socialising with the other guests as well. "Hotels nice, but the staff make it. We were able to check in early, which really suited our plans. We were given a welcome drink too which was a lovely surprise. Particular mention to the lady who checked us in and lady on the bar."

"What a lovely apartment - we wish we could have stayed longer. It was perfectly situated for my daughter's graduation, and with onsite parking and electric car charging, it couldn't have been more convenient for us."

"We liked the hotel which had a beautiful modern look, a bar and games to play. Unfortunately we did not get the booked family room because of a leak in the bathroom. We received 2 rooms instead - fine with us. The breakfast was very nice, healthy and vegan options available."
