"Booked the embassy because usually it’s really clean and nice . This is my 1st at this location. Let’s start with the Pro’s : Omelete station is great you can add options and everything. Although i wish they would’ve have a waffle maker. Parking is great ! Starbucks is right on property! Streamcast on TV’s - whenever i stay somewhere i look forward to this feature so i can resume watchin my shows while im away. Cons: the room was super dusty ! Like dust behind the nightstands , TV and bed. Just shows they do not deep clean and literally only clean the surface to make it appealing. Shower had grime in it and should’ve been cleaned professionally. Looks like they sprayed a bathroom cleaner and wiped it down that’s it. The pull out sofa had food stains on it my husband got an extra sheet so that we can cover it to sit on. Main lobby and amenities seemed cleaned but other than that hallways did not have a great smell and the room was not cleaned thoroughly. "

"The room was very clean and nicely kept. I have to give a special shout out to the front desk clerks, they were both amazing. Everyone was very helpful. I needed a staycation and this was a perfect fit. I had a 1 bedroom suite which had a pull out couch, fridge, microwave, beautifully stocked bathroom etc. very comfortable and peaceful. "

"I stayed at the Hampton Inn because it was advertised as the closest airport to EWR. It is as the crow flies but not as the car drives. It is about a 15 minute drive. There is a 24 hour airport shuttle, which was another reason I chose this hotel, however, it drops you off at the Air Train and not at a terminal. As an older traveler, I could not handle the Air Train with my bags so I took an Uber. For this reason, I would not stay here again, but I would choose a hotel where the shuttle drops you off at a terminal. The hotel is also quite noisy as it faces a freeway on ramp as cars are accelerating all night up the ramp. The rooms themselves are lovely. Best designed hotel room I have ever seen, very dark, wall thermostat instead of controls on the window unit, great bedding, compartmentalized bathroom with the sink outside the bathroom, lots of hooks to hang your stuff and STREAMING ON THE TV so you can use your Netflix! all hotels should have streaming. Also since I left at 5am in the morning, I very much appreciated the grab and go breakfast of a bagel with peanut butter, cream cheese and jam plus a piece of fruit plus a bottle of water. Mostly two thumbs up for this excellent hotel. Except for the shuttle dropping you off at the Air Train, I would stay there again."

"A very nice, inviting property. My only complaint was that it sat right next to Rt. 22, a roadway with maniacal drivers and danger lurking at every jughandle and U-turn. Drive at your own peril. Also, half the rooms face the speedway."
