Love The George…beautiful stylish hotel from the lobby, rooms and library. The staff are kind and accommodating and the breakfast is excellent. We always enjoy the candy closet and library. Our son lives in Montclair and we will return again!

Magnificent boutique hotel with all the amenities. Beautiful, curated rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. There is a lovely sitting room where you can enjoy wine and snacks during happy hour. Parking is on-site and it is a quick walk to shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and I look forward to visiting again.

Well maintained older hotel in classic style. My room was nicely updated with a view facing east toward the NYC skyline. Amenities included wine in the early evening, a "candy closet" and terrific continental breakfast, all in.. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very smooth visit-great experience at check in. Solid dinner suggestion and local spots to hit. Room was clean (I am picky!) and looked just like the pictures. I loved the feel of this boutique hotel since it was originally a home. Location is close to restaurants and shopping, but not within walking distance. Very short car ride to everything. Ample parking provided at the hotel. One note-the room has a Nespresso coffee machine with pods. Great…but no creamer or sweetener provided. Would be helpful to provide those as well when offering to make coffee ☕️ in the room. Look forward to staying again on my next visit to the area.

My stay at The George was by pure accident. Canceled flight at Newark added 2 days to my trip. Quickly looked for a place to stay away from the airport and city while still remaining a close Uber back to the airport. What an absolute gem of a property. Everything from the room, staff and the candy closet made for an amazing stay. This place turned a frustrating flight delay into one of the most amazing surprise get aways. I will absolutely be back and referring all my friends who travel to the area to visit family.
