"Where to start? First let me say that Ambar are condos, not a resort so each unit is individually owned & most are managed by different property managers. Our unit was managed by GPS Hospedajes Vacacionales. I could not get access to the property, they told me to see the administator who was not there for the 1st 6 days of our week there. The security guard was also no help. Once we did get in, there were no face cloths, hand towels, bath towels, dish cloths or dish towels. There were no pillow...

11. Lomas Sense Apartments

Lomas de Mazatlán

"I would not recommend this place: Pretty run down overall; shower stall leaked; the bed was a twin, not a queen as advertised; there was no microwave as advertised; located in a residential area with a LOT of barking dogs at all hours; only 2 plates/bowls/cups/glasses/towels; pillows were thin and flat. Good location close to Gaviotas strip and the beach, but you can do better for the same price."

Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlan Golf & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"We've been to a lot of all-inclusive resorts and this one was fabulous. We brought 4 kids and they had an absolute blast in the Kids Club, The Kids Club staff were so fun and energetic and kept the kids entertained with crafts, games, and more. Our older son loved the Teen Club and video games there. Joaquin down at the pool side Kitchen was super helpful and kept the french fries and cheese pizzas coming! Sandra at the buffet made the best fresh omelettes and checked on our family often. We really liked being able to go to the Coco Cafe coffee shop and having fresh lattes both hot and cold all day long. We also had couples massages at the spa and the staff were so professional, friendly, and we felt pampered and comfortable. The staff even put up birthday signs for my husbands birthday in the spa and back on our hotel room door. The pools were clean and we didn't have to fight for chairs. The lazy river and water slides kept us cool in the humid weather and were fun and relaxing. Overall we loved this resort and would be happy to come back!"
