"Everything about the Hotel Stelvio was great. A lovely welcome when we arrived and a spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. (And a lovely view of the mountains!) The bathroom was spotless too. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food and there was also a great selection of teas available. The location was great, about 7 mins walk from the train station. We would definitely stay here again when in Tirano. "

"Stayed in a new room as they’re expanding. Clean, convenient, great staff and convenience of an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful. Great spot with great views but about a 5 minute walk including over a pedestrian bridge to get to the main building which includes the restaurant and reception area. Walk is safe, mostly flat with sidewalks but runs parallel to busy street. Scenery is gorgeous!! One person in our party has mobility issues but managed it fine. "

The owner, Andrea, ensured our stay was perfect. His family property is a seven centuries old modern renovation. Our room was clean, comfortable and secure. "We (family of 4) stayed here for 5 days over the New Year and we can't say enough about the genuine, inviting, and fun nature of the staff. The food is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel is well appointed with fresh rooms, amazing mountain views and shuttles to the area ski lifts. We would definitely return. "
