"It's a older hotel with popcorn ceilings and not a very good repaint job. Many of the guest with kids took advantage of the pool/hot tub during our stay including us. There was so many that it was almost too many for such a small pool. It was also concerning the lady behind the desk had mace on her lanyard as well as another man who worked there with had mace+a big knife. Really made me think the area was not a safe place."
"If I could give a zero star I would. Worst customer service ever. I booked this room and requested a crib for our 3 month old. Called and confirmed a crib at 12pm. When we checked in at 5:30 confirmed a crib again they told me it would be in our room when we got back from dinner. To our surprise it still wasn’t there. I called the front desk he told me she’s running behind but it will be there this was around 8pm. By 10 pm still no crib. I paid $180 for our very short stay and had one request a crib for our newborn. Why offer it as an option if you’re not even going to give it to your guest. Traveling isn’t something most people get to do often and when they do they hope for a good experience this wasn’t. Not to mention no one seemed to care about all the underage children running up and down the halls all hours of the night either. We will never use another double tree again and we use to love staying in them.
Trip"
"The room was fantastic. Comfortable and clean. The pool was really nice as well. The rest of the place needs maintenance. All the elevators were out. I did find at least on ice machine working, so that was useful, but I had to look on several floors. The front desk person was overworked and overwhelmed. The breakfast was just typical. No eggs except cold hard boiled. Overall, a decent stay, but the climb to the fourth floor got old and carrying my luggage down the stairs was inconvenient."
