"Good room price. Easy access from I81. Bathroom was very clean but the room could’ve been cleaned better. Rug was dirty. Rooms are nice but dated. Our room was not ready when we checked in at about 4:30pm. The desk clerk Alex was super friendly and accommodating and took care of us by moving us to the biggest double queen room in the hotel without raising our room rate which I had paid in advance. "The manager and staff members are professional, courteous, responsive and very helpful. The propery is nice and quiet, and impeccably clean. "I was unsure about this hotel since the ratings were not that good. We had no choice since there was a graduation in the area and nothing else was available. To my Suprise everything was great. The rooms clean, the bed comfortable and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We stayed in the front section of the hotel where someone complained about the traffic noise, but we did not hear any noises."

"Fantastic stay in a unique and beautiful property! The staff was wonderful. We had dinner our first night in the restaurant and had to go back again the next night because we couldn't stop talking about the bacon dates and the mushroom tart. FANTASTIC bartender and waitstaff. Simple, quiet room with an unexpected view of the Roanoke Star. GREAT time--we'll be back!"
