We came to Roanoke for the USA Cycling Mountain bike championships . The Fairfield was convenient to the venue(Hollins University). Restaurants were nearby and also there were more a short drive away. The hotel was clean and quiet and offered a variety of breakfast choices each morning.

Great location to Hershey park about 1 minute drive. Great breakfast with friendly staff! They share a parking lot with a gas station that has a good restaurant inside for dinner for the family. The kids loved the pool as did the other families.
