"Charming hotel in tranquil setting but with very easy access to major road networks. We were a bit worried that the hotel might be noisy but even after a large prom event all was very peaceful and quiet by 11.30pm. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was very spacious, tastefully appointed and had a very comfy bed. Would definitely return."

"The staff, especially Reception and a young blonde-haired lady who had only been there about 3 weeks were exceptional. Having the bar & the restaurant on the top floor is a bit odd, but it is comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very poor as was the quality of the wine. The gentleman acting as Maitre was brusque, untidy and unwelcoming. We booked our table for 7 and were prompt. But he wanted us to have courses in rapid succession. "Perfectly adequate stay. We were only there for a brief overnight stay for a graduation. Booked 3 rooms. Twin room excellent, huge beds and bathroom, other double rooms a lower spec. Beds super comfy, very dark and well air conditioned rooms. Friendly and efficient reception staff. Parking included. Fast check in and checkout. Didn’t use bar or restaurant so can’t comment. Taxi ride into Uni and centre of town."
