"We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows.
Very dated in the decor and furnishings.
I was disappointed with the whole experience.
Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming.
Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection.

"Fundamentally this should be a nice apartment, despite the tiny twin room. Living area and kitchen were nice and the main bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious.
The main problem was that the toilet flush broke the first time it was used: the button that needed to be pressed got stuck and wouldn’t come back out. So the cistern wouldn’t refill and the toilet couldn’t be flushed.
I dialled the contact number and it went to answer phone. I dialled the emergency contact mobile number and...

"A nice hotel off the M1. Plenty of parking. A warm welcome on arrival. All staff were very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Very handy that there was air con in the room. Disappointing that the windows were locked, they should NOT be.
Cooked and continental breakfast was good.
A excellent hotel due to its location for business or touring."
