"This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay ."

"We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. "Clean room, lovely bar, nice range of drinks. Nice sunday dinner, great atmosphere, log fire bar. Breakfast was the usual cereals etc, bacon, toast, sausage was Richmond (not my preferred). Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"

"We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Most of all very,very dog friendly , excellent ! "

"Great location, friendly owner and house keeper, well maintained with a cosy homely feel. The kitchen was well equiped for self catering and the home was kept warm for our autumnal stay. Towels were provided as were gowns and slippers which were a thoughtful addition for the use of the hot tub. A much appreciated basket of goodies greeted us on arrival. Would happily return."
