Gorgeous stay. The staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. They are a real credit to the management. I attended to go to Yarndale in addition to celebrating my friends birthday. The restaurant was lovely with lots of choice including specials and with a prompt courteous service and a great ambiance. Will definitely be back when the log fire gets lit. Highly recommend for a lovely get away

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Clean rooms, excellent service
Restaurant: amazing food, Looked after in restaurant with great staff and service. Gluten free catered for. Highly recommend roast dinner, and fish and chips, large portions (female opinion)
Only negative point was noise coming through older thin windows, however we had an early night due to early hike, this probably wouldnt be a problem otherwise
Stayed at The Plough for one night and can’t recommend highly enough!
The staff were very warm and welcoming, the pub has a nice atmosphere, the room was great and the evening meal and breakfast were delicious!
We booked two rooms as a family celebration for my husband’s birthday. This is the third time my husband and I have stayed and as ever the food, room, bar, friendliness of the staff as well as email communication was top class. I look forward to our next visit!
Great (2nd) one night stay at the Plough for a family get together. Comfortable, clean rooms, excellent dining, good choice of beers and wines, highly recommended and will return
Warm and friendly welcome. Lovely cosy bedroom with a fantastic modern bathroom. We had drinks in the conservatory on the comfy sofas than our evening meal which was delicious. Summer menu was a good deal and the Al a carte menu had lots of delicious options to chose from. Waitresses were friendly. A delicious breakfast in the morning. The coffee was a little too strong but the waitress brought extra hot water when requested. Throughly recommended, five ⭐️
Excellent find during our Penines walk.
Staff were so obliging. Breakfast and evening meal were fabulous and very tasty
Rooms lovely well decorated and clean.
Nice garden good parking and quaint village setting
Added bonus was being able to charge the car overnight
We had a one night stay here and evening meal. The pub is lovely and our meal was amazing. All the staff were really friendly and efficient. A great place to stay as a base for walking in the area - thoroughly recommend
Wonderful stay. Staff helpful and very attentive. Comfy bed and lots of apace in the room. Food beautiful, breakfast equally so. Would stay there again for sure. Thank you for making it special.
Beautiful pub/hotel. Lovely gardens, fantastic food, very accommodating staff and impressive rooms. Bar excellent as well. Couldn't recommend more highly!
A lovely relaxing weekend stay. The Plough is a great place to visit. Food in the evening is well presented and tasty. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had. All the staff are fantastic.
A very good small hotel with helpful friendly staff and excellent food. The only small criticism is that it was quite cold in the communal areas such as the bar. The restaurant area was much better. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent overnight stay at the Plough for a family get together. Very welcoming and friendly staff, well appointed and comfortable rooms (Room 5 was very warm however, couldn't get the radiator down to below "hot", other two rooms booked were spacious and fine), fabulous dinner menu and gastro food, would not hesitate to stay again or recommend.
The stag were extremely welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was a very good size with a modern en-suite bathroom. The evening meal menu had a varied selection for all tastes and the quality of food was excellent, being very well cooked and presented. Breakfast was high quality local produce with a large serving. Overall we had a fantastic stay and great nights sleep with a large high quality mattress and comfortable pillows. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue and we would definitely stay again when in the area.
It was our first visit to the Plough, on arrival i wouldnt say the lady was over friendly however when the shifts changed over the staff were friendly and helpful!
Food was fantastic, evening meal and breakfast fab!
Lively pub/restaurant and great atmosphere. The rooms were stylish and comfortable.
With so much to do and see in the Yorkshire dales, the Plough Inn is the perfect location.
Very friendly and helpful staff escorting us to the room and making sure we were comfortable.
Friendly bar staff providing a good selection of wines, beers and spirits at sensible prices.
The restaurant menu is perfect. Simple and straightforward choice and the food is the same, just perfect.
Everything about our stay at the Plough was perfect from start to finish. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean. Food was excellent and well presented with care. Thank you and well done to all the staff at the Plough.
Great stay at the Plough. Fantastic and engaging staff and next level food. A lot of effort has been put into the decor and ambience and it has certainly paid off. The dining experience was first class, with a range of locally sourced food exquisitely prepared and presented. I cannot recommend enough.
