"A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the restaurant a treat with exceedingly helpful and pleasant staff."

"I could not use the kiosk check in because there was an error with my ref no. The staff were rude and unhelpful at the check in. She did not tell me there was a separate kiosk for the parking. I was told the next day and then even though I paid, still I ended up receiving a parking ticket because they saw me leaving before I paid, then when I came back later in the day I did pay what it was midnight and was classed as the next day."

"We asked hotel to confirm we could have a parking space, they confirmed by email but neglected to mention it would cost £15. Check on was great, friendly person and helpful. Room was nice but metal clothes rack by bed didn’t leave much room and I bashed my knee on drawer knob. Venue was not great for sleep, they had very loud music until 01:15 an we did not sleep well as road was also loud from quite early.
