A very traditional Japanese experience while staying at this hotel. Leave your shoes at the door, wear your robes to breakfast if you like, enjoy the onsen heated spring. It was a lovely experience. We also enjoyed the sushi 7 course meal which was incredible. Great location and very helpful and warm staff

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were consistently warm, attentive and helpful, and the room was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The onsen was a particular highlight, and the in-room amenities were thoughtfully curated — I especially appreciated the hotel’s own hair care products, which were a lovely touch. Breakfast was enjoyable and well prepared, though a little more variety would elevate the experience further, whether through a broader selection or some rotation of the menu from day to day. The location is also excellent, just steps from the station, making it exceptionally convenient while still offering a relaxing stay. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and one we would gladly return to.

We had several meals in the hotel. 2 were very good. 1 was just OK. (Sushi). 1 was cold. Cooked Breakfast. The onsite ONSEN was amazing and made our vacation at this property worthwhile. We will definitely be coming back.

Amazing, beautiful, well located, comfortable and luxury rooms, very helpful staff and an amazing way to immerse on the Japanese culture. We stayed at another VERY luxurious and way more expensive hotel in Tokyo and Hoshinoya was much better in every aspect. I highly recommend!

My wife and i spent an incredible 6 nights here for our wedding anniversary. From the location to the staff and amazing amenities, i could not fault a single thing. The rooftop onsen was spectacular and welcome after a big day walking around tokyo

This place is like no other I've ever stayed. It provided a relaxing escape after a long day of walking. Every floor had a tea room. When i was jet lagged and up ar 2 am,, I was thankful for a quiet place to have tea and a snack. 11/10.

So calm and quiet - but very central. Staff are all outstanding. We had our arrival delayed by a day and they dealt with it with no problem. This was our second time staying here and would do so again.

Our stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo was absolutely stellar. The staff was warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. The space is beautifully and thoughtfully designed- a blend of transitional ryokan with modern comforts. The Onsen experience was wonderful and restorative, and we had a really restful sleep in the comfortable bed. Strong recommend, and hope to return again.
