"The area was lovely, we walked around and explored the park and streets alike. We hadn’t realised the dads army connection, which was a lovely discovery. Unfortunately at night we were disturbed by loud noises from people nearby the property and obviously outside of your control."

Everything for an overnight stay, coffee on the terrace, good evening meal in the restaurant and a lovely pre-breakfast swim in quite a large swimming pool with sauna and jacuzzi available. Overall an enjoyable and restful stay with friendly staff.."

"This hotel is just lovely. Beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. The bed was so comfy. Our bedroom and bathroom were huge and felt luxurious. Food in the restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. My only small gripe was that we did not have any openable windows in our room so it would have been nice to have aircon or at least a fan as it got a bit warm and it wasn't even that warm outside"
