"The staff are very helpful, the restaurant serves a fairly limited food and wine menu but the food is very good quality. It does not pretend to be a Gourmet venue, which is fine. The Stage is excellent value for money, with nice rooms and lovely staff. You will not be disappointed. 😃"

"Friendly welcome, check-in desk in an awkward place, feel like your in the way of the bar staff or customers queuing the bar. Causing an obstruction with suitcases for someone wherever you stand. Room spacious and clean, plenty of tea, cofee milk etc provided. Had dinner, which was good and even had a go at the quiz! Breakfast the following morning was ok. There seemed to be some sort of staff meeting going on at one part of the dining room, and so there wasnt much instruction on what to do with...

"A small but friendly hotel with a very highly recommended restaurant. I booked a single room which was perfectly suited to my needs. Parking is tight but that has to be expected in a Medieval town that was built for horses not cars. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would certainly stay again. "

"A great find within walking distance of pubs and eateries and yet away from the town centre. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were efficient and polite. With an excellent breakfast and plenty of parking the only downside I can report is that some of the furniture in the room was a little dated. "

Only downside was black mold on the shower tray edge but the power shower was awesome.The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the food on offer was of excellent quality and well cooked.goos continental selection. "The room was clean and spacious for the price we paid. There has been a bit of a refresh done within the last couple of years which is nice. Over the last two visits I've had it feels like the quality of the breakfast has slipped a bit though which is a shame."
