Hotel Dekat Lawrance Park

"A small but friendly hotel with a very highly recommended restaurant. I booked a single room which was perfectly suited to my needs. Parking is tight but that has to be expected in a Medieval town that was built for horses not cars. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would certainly stay again. "

"Friendly welcome, check-in desk in an awkward place, feel like your in the way of the bar staff or customers queuing the bar. Causing an obstruction with suitcases for someone wherever you stand. Room spacious and clean, plenty of tea, cofee milk etc provided. Had dinner, which was good and even had a go at the quiz! Breakfast the following morning was ok. There seemed to be some sort of staff meeting going on at one part of the dining room, and so there wasnt much instruction on what to do with...

"On the whole enjoyed our one night stay. Property is lovely and our ground floor room was clean and warm. Only downside was black mold on the shower tray edge but the power shower was awesome.The breakfast room is nicely decorated and the food on offer was of excellent quality and well cooked.goos continental selection. Overall it is a lovely hotel and we would stay again."

"A great find within walking distance of pubs and eateries and yet away from the town centre. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were efficient and polite. With an excellent breakfast and plenty of parking the only downside I can report is that some of the furniture in the room was a little dated. "

When the footsteps stopped thumping, we could hear their conversation quite clearly. The restaurant gave us a good meal at a reasonable price and the front desk crew could not have been more welcoming."

"The staff are very helpful, the restaurant serves a fairly limited food and wine menu but the food is very good quality. It does not pretend to be a Gourmet venue, which is fine. The Stage is excellent value for money, with nice rooms and lovely staff. You will not be disappointed. 😃"

"I love staying here, it’s my go to place. I was a little disappointed this time, stayed in room 22 on second floor. Room was clean, but the window was not able to stay open, so it was unbearably hot in the room, and just got hotter at night. It could do with at least two more plug sockets, as two were taken up by the fans we had to plug in and have on continuously. The bed was a little firm for our preference, but others may prefer that.
