"Regina was an absolute star wonderfully sunny disposition. Helpful about where to eat. Rooms are spacious and ensuite too. Breakfast is self serve continental with a good choice, however, you can cook your own in the kitchen which has all amenities. Plenty room for parking. Big lounge room. Door leads.from Breakfast.l room out to the garden which is well maintained. Squirrels, ducks,coots and.other garden birds can be seen. A very nice place.to stay, quiet and relaxing."

"Great property, very quiet location, lots of golfers on the coarse so guess its good to (not a golfer). Food was amazing (though a little pricey) and the staff were incredible. With a nice bonus of a live act in the bar on Saturday night. The only let down was the pool etc. Locker rooms in need of some TLC, the pool was absolutely freezing and the steam room didnt seem to be working. All in all though a nice hotel, in a quiet area to get away from it all. "

"Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. "

"Breakfast menu very good, evening meals menu average but well cooked. I struggled with steps outside could have done with a slope, also no lift again struggled with stairs. Staff professional and pleasant, rooms good. "

"Very cheap City Centre hotel. I paid under £60 for a dounle room on a midweek to attend a conference at the CBS Arena. Expectation was low having stayed at some other Ibis City Centre hotels but couldnt really fault it. Nice reception area with usual small bar athough they had a pool table also. Reception was very polite and helpful. Room was basic but the bed was comfy, it was clean and the ai con worked! Overall if you are on a budget and need somewhere central to stay, this one is 7 min walk...

"Clean room, easy parking with friendly and professional staff. Warm welcome with a lovely Tavern for a drink, limited menu for dinner but very tasty simple food. The inclusive breakfast buffet was excellent, good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items. We were a couple and enjoyed the knights sword fighting, brilliant performances. For families with young children there was a small park, story telling with Zog and Knights interacting throughout dinner."

"On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the room was a really nice temperature despite having recently had a hot spell and the shower was consistent and powerful. The main hotel was attractively decorated but staff were mostly quite cold and actively irritated when I asked for fresh tea and coffee in our room, which was not provided overnight. This might being physically quite modern looking, there was always litter lying around in the corridors when we went to And from our room and tables...

I have stayed at the Strawberry Bank Hotel for 5 nights, and despite the sun being a deadly laser this weekend they were extremely comfortable and one of the most wonderful places I have stayed in awhile. The staff are extremely friendly. Because I was going to an event which had me wearing a lot of costumes, the cleaner saw this and got chatting to me about them. I’m two occasions the stuff bent over backwards to make sure that I got breakfast despite me getting to the restaurant late. I...

"Good : Easy to find, great comms, generally very clean indeed, quality of bathroom (great shower) and general decor far exceeded my expectation. Bad : False fire alarm at 4.30am, used underwear and socks from.previous guest in a drawer."
