"Very cheap City Centre hotel. I paid under £60 for a dounle room on a midweek to attend a conference at the CBS Arena. Expectation was low having stayed at some other Ibis City Centre hotels but couldnt really fault it. Nice reception area with usual small bar athough they had a pool table also. Reception was very polite and helpful. Room was basic but the bed was comfy, it was clean and the ai con worked! Overall if you are on a budget and need somewhere central to stay, this one is 7 min walk...

"Unexpected damage deposit required. Check in process and access to the property was not obvious. Room was ok. Old instant coffee was not good, I had to get coffee bags from a local gas station instead. Location is a ~10 minutes walk from a handful of restaurant places."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked this property a week in advance and on the day i was told there was no room for me as they did not block out the bookings when they were fully booked. They claimed they had sent a message on the portal “hours in advance” However, prior to my arrival there was no message or attempt to contact myself to let me know that the property was already booked up. "I liked the fact that this not a run of the mill motel It also reminded me so much of the house I lived in from 1959 - 62, not far away at Allesley (sadly gone).This was owned by Jaguar Cars to accommodate student apprentices. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. "
