"This was a lovely place to stay for a few days as we visited family and did some touristy trips. Even tho' this was above a tavern and in an area with other bars and restaurants, it was very quiet. Our room was very quaint, the staff were exceptional, the food was wonderful, the breakfast was very good. We had easy street parking. Our room was clean - tho' very small. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."

"We stayed here the night before leaving on a cruise. Everything about this hotel (location, food, room, area, staff) was great with one glaring exception (which we reported). The hostess in the 6th floor restaurant was rude on multiple occasions. She did not fit in with the rest of the lovely staff. We reported this (several people in our party noticed her attitude on multiple occasions) This aside, our stay was lovely and we recommend"

"Akshae was wonderful at check-in. V friendly and helpful. The second chap sorry i don't know his name was excellent when the room wouldn't open. No hair dryer or plug sockets nr the bed. Sheets just lie on the bed. Not fitted. Team lovely. Location great. Tried to call 3 times before stay but no pick up or ability to leave a call back message. "

"The woman managing the place was very kind and helpful. She gave us tips for walking around the area and finding restaurants. When we had a little trouble with transportation for our cruise, she contacted a local taxi company who was there in 5 minutes. It made our day much less stressful. Thank you very much! "

"The location of the house was a short walk from the train station. The neighbourhood felt safe and clean. The house itself was well looked after and clean.
