"The location could not have been better for our cruise. It is located perfectly next to a very historic section of the city and also within walking distance of good pubs and restaurants. The bar/restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Checking in and out was easy and the hotel staff was pleasant and most helpful. We would definitely stay again."

"The room was very clean, however for the price we paid for the room I would expect some hand lotion and not a combo of shampoo / conditioner / body wash, but separate products. Keep in mind it is self check-in, there is no in-room safe, and there are no drawers or closet, just a couple hangers on a rack. Other than my comments above, the hotel is fine to stay in, especially because of the cleanliness and the convenience in the area"

"This was such a great place to stay for a weekend event in Southampton - easy to find parking nearby (Ocean Village), welcomed immediately by staff and room was a great size - we loved the decor throughout and excellent amenities all included in the room. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range available."

"It was great that there was a kettle in the room to make coffee or tea in the morning. The bathtub had high sides that made it hard for us as older short people to get in and out to take a shower. The staff was great and helpful with local recommendations."

"The room smelt surgically clean when we arrived but we soon got used to it! It was quite small but you get what you pay for and beds were super comfy. Parking was £12.50 for the day. It's very close to the retail park and West Quay shopping centre, and high street shops. If you want somewhere cheap and clean I would recommend here."
