"ALERT! Manager will try to deny this review as he said to us when leaving - THE POOL. Nice view and pool but we had to get our own towels from a bag. We had to clean chairs off of food/cigs & towels after waiting patiently for help. The one pool employee was never proactive. Also BEWARE, the hotel rents out the pool to outside parties so you may be left without anywhere to sit or get service which happened to us on July 21st. THE ROOM, is in high need of renovations. Dirty, bugs, ants...

"The staff was fantastic. Our flight got canceled so we needed somewhere to crash. The hotel is old and not updated, AC was not very good and it was hot in Florence. It got us through the night. The location is not great if looking for convenience, there is nothing really around and near highway"

We booked three nights, but the room assigned to us was directly next to a terrace where guests were drinking, talking loudly, and making noise for hours late into the night. The disturbance was so severe that we were unable to sleep at all. "We had an amazing time at this location- it is walking distance to all of the main attractions we were looking to spend time at during our trip to Florence (me, my husband, and our 18 month old daughter). We walked to Ponte vecchio, the trevi fountain, the uffizzi gallery... all the great shopping etc! We even noticed a playground across the Arno that our daughter also loved. The staff was SO helpful and friendly. A very comfortable crib was set up in our room before arrival for our daughter....
