"Amazing value that includes top notch, and private, hot springs baths, and a delicious healthy japanese breakfast. The location is not the most convenient and be very careful going in and out of the parking area, it is a blind exit and cars are driving by quickly."

"Excellent facility with beautifully curated and serene setting. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms were well thought through and we especially enjoyed the views of the street/city and the tea and coffee station. Lastly the Muji cafe was a surprisingly tasty breakfast option and worth including as part of the stay package. We’ll be looking forward to staying at future Metropolitans and certainly keen to return to the one in Kamakura again. "

"Very cute guest house, we enjoyed our stay in the family room. The staff was very accommodating and hold our luggage prior to checking in. There’s a very good soba/udon restaurant (Dote) nearby. The beach is very close by as well. "

"We had a great stay at this 100-year-old Japanese home. The mix of traditional architecture and modern updates was impressive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Tadao, the host was very responsive and made communication a pleasure. We only wished we had booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend a relaxing stay directly across the rd from the beach. Some of the flaws that I’ve seen here are the presence of mosquitoes and the lack of a source of water or ice. The pros that I can share here are that it doesn’t require the key or keycard to run the lights or circuits in the room, and the room is quite furnished with views of the beach."

"Our first visit to Japan began with 3 nights in Kamakura, a beautiful small coastal city. We chose WeBase due its great overall location and its proximity to Yuigahama station. The hotel is tucked away down a quiet street and you’d miss the entrance if you didn’t know it was there. Rooms are spotless and modern. The breakfast galettes were incredible and the breakfast service was one of the highlights of our trip. We will definitely stay there again!"
