We explored quite a lot of Barcelona and decided this was definitely the best area to stay as we were near so many local eateries. The room was spotless, thanks to the fabulous housekeeping team. "Unfortunately there is currently septic work which smells ongoing in the street in front of the building which detracts from experience. The interior is one of the nicest places we stayed in Spain. Had AC, regular person at counter to check in, and allowed bag storage prior to check-in."
