"Gorgeous boutique hotel with fantastic updates that also keep the charm and history of a French Quarter building. Beautifully decorated. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is very close to Bourbon Street, so there is quite a bit of noise, especially at night. I sleep with earplugs anyway, but I know the hotel does offer them if needed. Courtyard is fantastic and has plenty of seating. Would definitely stay at The Celestine again when in the French Quarter."

"WE loved staying there. The location is super central, the carousel and the lounge are interesting experiences and the creole restaurant’s food was really good, special attention to the bignets which were better than cafe du kinds and Loretta. We’d stay there again if we ever come back to town"

"The property has only been operational for 2 weeks. When I arrived, I was informed that there was no parking in front of the hotel to unload our luggage. It was pouring rain. We had to find a random parking garage 2 blocks away and paid $150 for 4 fays of parking. We unloaded on the 5th floor of parking and made it through the pouring rain to the hotel once again. "Magnificent apartment in an historic building, I loved it. The communication was brilliant and the host bent over backwards to accommodate me. I had a few issues with some mice in the apartment however they moved me to a new one while they sorted out the situation and were extremely accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend."

"The staff was definitely the best part of our stay, the rooms were fine, we had no issues but we were hoping for a little more special decor or something to match the extraordinary prices (though we know Jazz Fest means $$$). For the money we could have stayed at many other high end places-the staff was excellent. Not sure I’d make a special point to return but no major complaints."

Unfortunately the condition of our room had us spending as much time as possible in the open-air courtyard. Dusty/dirty floors, dirty/smudgy door, well-worn furnishings. "Beautiful hotel in a great location — it was easy to get anywhere in New Orleans on foot. The common spaces are especially lovely, with a stylish bar and a library/lounge area that give the hotel a lot of character and charm. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. We stayed on the top floor, and the room was very dark. The lighting was extremely poor, and after searching for a while we finally found a tiny wall lamp hidden near the door.
