We had an issue with the AC and I called the front desk and they immediately had someone come to resolve it, though the AC just overall wasn’t super strong. It is in a cute area with lots to offer. Food, Park, Subway all accessible. We will definitely make this our go to hotel when we come to New York!"

"The room was not only so unique, comfortable & clean, but simply gorgeous as well! We had one of the rooms with no elevator access (worth it!) so it’s a little hike with luggage, but the woman at the front desk, I wish I could remember her name, was such an angel in helping me get all of our bags upstairs. "The efforts of excellence & lux is clearly their goal. Quality in design, bed & room amenities… But, Unfortunately our room was not cleaned two times even with the clean room notice indicated. Returning to our room late night to NOT have a clean towel to wash up with, a clean cup to drink from & untidy room is frustrating & unexceptionable.
