"The room was basic but contained everything I needed. I had a garden view on the top floor which was lovely. The air con worked fine and so I kept windows closed which had the added benefit of keeping mosquitoes / bugs out. Having my pot of tea and biscuits in the room each night was a nice touch. Besides the room, the property was gorgeous. Very well laid out and plenty of activities. The only times spent in the room were to shower, get changed, and sleep. "Hotel is in a perfect area. The resort is beautiful. They have a lot of restaurants. Nice sea overview. I had a swimup pool room, it was really nice. I only went in once. Was nice for the experience. Hotel staff were very helpfull. Because I requested a late checkout but it was not possible anymore because of an arrival they had for that room they offered me a place to store my bags and the possibility to stay at the resort and/ shower because our flight was 7pm. "Overall it was not a pleasant experience from the minute we checked in. I was abandoned during the check in for thirty minutes. When the clerk came back the apology was not acceptable and offered nothing to smooth it over. I hoped that would be it and could move on but turned out that was only the beginning. "We stay twice a year for three-day stays in Gros Islat when we launch or haul our boat into the boat yard at Rodney Bay Marina. We have always stayed at the Bay Gardens properties... No more. The rooms at Harmony Suites are CHARMING! Affordable. Quiet. The food is excellent at the two restaurants on the property. The staff treats you with friendly respect...you get the feeling you belong there...not that you are a tourist."
