"Double check the tv remote is working for all rooms before guests arrive , but no problem! We turned it on at the tv instead. Wasn’t a big deal but will help with convenience for future guests :)"

"Aoraki / Mount Cook is a beautiful area, the drive to the Village, the walks in the national park, everything is just beautiful, even when it's raining. The room we had was just perfect! The room was comfortable, warm, has everything you need and just outside you see mountains!"

"Very quiet considering the number of rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Small, but enough space. Comfy bed. Heated tiles in bathroom were so lovely after a long day hiking in the snow. The laundry was a reasonable walk and a little hard to find, even with directions. Limited food options especially Monday and Tuesday nights, so be organised or prepared to pay $$$ for dinner at the Hermitage. It was good food but expensive. Dinner at the Chamois onsite was good food and reasonable priced, but...

"Absolutely gorgeous setting with a view of the glacier. Villa was comfortable (except for the lack of bedside lamps) with a nice kitchen and good beds. Loved that they had free DVDs available (which we took advantage of thanks to a very rainy afternoon and evening) and laundry facilities. The town of Franz Joseph Glacier was cute but food options weren't great - I'd suggest cooking in. Glad we had 2 nights here! "
