Alpine Glacier Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean and staff was helpful recommending a restaurant for dinner. Convenient location to stay for the local trails. Only recommendation is to add another kitchen towel to the room."
"We arrived earlier than expected so had the pleasure of the staff telling which hikes suited our needs. They have a great book with the info also. I didn’t realize how new the rooms were. What a special place with great location, phenomenal views of Mount Sefton, and the night sky - surreal!! Highly recommend!! "
"It was a nice stay except the bed was not comfortable, unless I changed head to toe. They need to get new mattresses or flip them at least in our room."
"10 Cottages was backed up to the wilds and I loved the little individual tiny cottages. Each had their own deck, a spacious bedroom with little dining area and kitchenette (with mini fridge, microwave, and coffee station). The bathroom was very small, and could have taken floor space from the main room.
The place was warm with heated bed as well.
We didn't eat inside. The little patio outside was too cute and the view were wonderful.
We kept the window curtains drawn since our neighbors were literally a step away. If we had friends in the next cottage, it would have been so fun.
In all, it was warm, comfortable, and quiet. The views were fantastic from the patio. "
"No complaints. It was a very friendly and accommodating place to stay. Remember it is primarily a backpackers hostel but caters for all. Owner was very chatty, pleasant and helpful. The vibe at the place was great and the room was simple but comfortable and adequate. A perk was the big pot of soup that theylaid on for anyone to share in for free. An amazing bonus to all. "
