"This is a new type of a Japanese "Ryokan", mostly self-services. Quiet area and much cheaper than other typical "Ryokan" in the town. Yet, I enjoyed one of the private-room onsen. "
"Huge house for family to share, wish we can stay even longer to well use the house and enjoy the Aso National park more!
Great facilities like kitchen, washing machine and jacuzzi bath tub."
"It was very nice to stay =)
The staff are super friendly. I can't praise them highly enough.
The rooms are spacious spotlessly clean. The location is nice with countryside views. We very much enjoyed the garden and saunas. The breakfast was excellent, too. A very nice place to really rest and relax. I would gladly come back."
"This was the first time my best friend Lina and I had stayed at a ryokan, and although it was a perfect trip overall, the only difficult part was walking up the hill to the ryokan with our luggage. "Very new hotel with 14 rooms, loved the simplistic yet unique decor by world renowned architect Kengo Kuma. Hotel exterior blended in very well with the local natural environments. Check-in with the tablet quick and easy, rooms had large balcony/window with double-layered curtains offering ample sunlight during daytime while maintaining darkness for a good night's sleep. Our room was well equipped with large beds, a comfortable dining/sofa area, small cooking area with fridge & cooking hob, clothes washer/dryer, double bathroom sink, etc. overall everything you would need for a long stay including ample car parking in front of the hotel. Looked exactly like the pictures on the hotel website."
"Amazing service all around. We were greeted straight away, shown to our room and the available facilities. The ryoken was very peaceful and clean. Dinner was 10/10 and we had lovely onsens to enjoy."
