"The front desk service was excellent. When we arrived at our room, the temperature was freezing - someone had left the air conditioning turned down to it's absolute minimum. We appreciated new towels between the first and second days of our stay. We did not appreciate the balls of hair on the carpet of our room - it was as if no one ever vacuumed the floor. Housekeeping needs some direction and improvement."

"Nice hotel close to the interstate, but still a quiet area. Also there is a wonderful cafe across the road that was so good, we had dinner and breakfast there. Very clean hotel. "

Staff was engaging and present at front desk. disappointed in the cleaning staff-found food particles on sofa behind pillow, 2 of 3 bottles low or empty in bathroom-even after "thorough cleaning" mid week, same breakfast all week, put out too much food product all at once that sat for too long and became overly dry, milk not chilled properly"

"I liked the ease of getting to the hotel and the cleanliness The breakfast was cold most mornings and needed to be microwaved to be hot. When I went to check-in I was told they tried to call me as my card was declined. I corrected the problem and they ran my card with no problem. "The lobby is beautiful and the conference room looks nice. I didn't need to use it but appears well set up. They have a nice bar and patio area. There is a walking path around the pond in back. The room was very nice and comfortable. I've been to a few hotels where the lobby looks great but the rooms are rough but not here. This will probably be our go to hotel nest time we visit Kansas city. "

"The rooms were clean. However, the grounds were always in need of cleaning. There was a lot of cigarette smoke I had to walk through at times to get to my room. The elevator worked just fine. For the price and I would definitely stay again."
