Hotel Dekat Syurga Katak

"Excellent stayall around! The family who maintains the place was very friendly and a joy to talk to. It was a perfect way to spend our first evening in Costa Rica! Breakfast was delicious!"

"The property was quiet, away from town a few minutes. The hosts were so friendly and wonderful to us. The bungalows were in very good shape and very clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!"

"This is a lovely place the breakfast was great all fresh ingredients and made locally. The rooms have everything you need, no TV, enjoy the nature."

"The nicest people and wonderful hosts. I mentioned that we would be celebrating our daughter’s bday while we were there and they knocked on the door with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a candle and sang Feliz cumpleanos. It was the sweetest thing and so special for our family. It was such a kind gesture and it set the tone for the rest of our time there. Breakfast was a lovely production. We entered the dining room and they just started bringing out entree after entree, fruit, eggs, gallo...

"A very beautiful place, quiet and super pleasant"

"Personal muy amable, estuve muy agusto los días que estuve en Bijagua"

"A hidden gem in guanacaste province! By far my favorite place, from the warm welcome, to the well-thought out layout of our cabin, to the excellent service all around! The place is clean, safe, well maintained, easy to navigate even for our young kids, who felt right at home. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a chocolate drink and a tasting of various locally crafted cacao products. The breakfast, traditional costa rican, is made fresh every morning, with coffee/tea/hot chocolate...

"Best Stay of Our Costa Rica Trip — Malekus Mountain Lodge This was, hands down, the best place we stayed during our 10 days in Costa Rica. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but we had the pleasure of being the only guests, so Roger and Rosy treated us like family. They helped us shape our itinerary to have a more authentic, local experience, and honestly ended up defining our whole trip. The rooms were comfortable — we had the one with a double bed plus a separate room with a bunk bed,...

"It was just a great experience, photos exactly as it was."

"We loved our stay at this property, we were shown around by Angie who seemed to be the animal whisperer. Wherever we went we saw all sorts of animals, monkeys, sloths, toucans, humming birds and so many more. It’s a beautiful paradise and we loved every minute we had here. We were sad to have to move on when we did. Thankyou so much for looking after us so well."

"The entire staff was amazing. What a peaceful property and lovely people :))"

"Une vue superbe, dans un coin calme. La chambre est grande avec une superbe terrasse. C’est calme et bien équipé, avec un accueil très attentionné"

"Only 2 rooms on property. Close to the park but not very comfortable: no much to do at night other than sleep. Breakfast is nice."
