"What can I say,. The hosts were absolutely amazing from check in to check out. They couldn't do enough for you. The hotel itself is undergoing some major refurbishment which did not impact our stay in disturbance. The only impact was no bar was available but they had a solution (you can use the bar in the next door property) the rooms were clean, habitable and comfortable. Even though ours was a very small room (advertised for 3) but it could just fit 1 double and our newborn. We were lucky...

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. They are the most welcoming, friendliest couple. You can see how much they enjoy meeting their guest, chatting with everyone at breakfast...

"The room and bathroom were both extremely clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent position on the promenade, directly opposite the South Pier, with public transport on the doorstep. "

"Really pleased we booked this hotel. Room with 2 double beds was lovely for 2 11year old girls and 1 adult. Room was spotless and clean throughout the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, at check in, breakfasts and check out. Complimentary breakfast in the booking price was excellent, plenty of choice. Location was a good 10-15 minute walk to the South Pier, which we didn’t mind. "
