"The hotel staff were amazing.
We were there for the marathon and they allowed us to leave our luggage and then let us return later for a shower.
It was an unexpected treat which we were so grateful for as it allowed us to freshen up and not have to drive home sweaty.

"This property is in disrepair and is not being maintained.
One part of the floor is sinking and propped by loose boards. There is an overall smell of mildew/mold throughout the place, and most of the surfaces need a good cleaning. In the bathroom the shower tap is rigged so that you cannot increase the temperature past a moderate level, and the shower door is falling off the frame. I also came across many spiders. "

"Room was clean and excellent size, though saying sea view was pushing it as that was only visible in top right corner of the dirty window. No food available at 6pm on Sunday evening and the general decor of the pub and facilities is pretty poor. Fine for a short overnight stay but place needs an upgrade"

"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned.
The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean.
I would highly recommend staying there!"

"The best thing I can say about this place is that the staff memberqho greeted me was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. That said, I was very tired after a very full day, so I probably could have fallen asleep on concrete.
The room was grimy and shabby. It didn't look like it had been cleaned particularly well. Surfaces were wiped, but I don't think the carpet had been hoovered.
I won't be staying there again."

"Fantastic stay at Central Wave Brighton. The location is great, really central and easy to get everywhere on foot.
The room was clean and comfortable, and nicely done considering it’s an older building. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.
Check-in was easy and everything ran smoothly. Communication was good, and it was nice to have someone at reception if needed.
Overall, great value for money and a really pleasant stay. We’d happily come back."

"I loved the sitting room which had very interesting historical references. The bedroom was very clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is in a great location. I took a drink from the Tap bar into the sitting room and relaxed after a busy day. I would definitely stay here again and will pass it on to anyone I know who wants to visit Arundel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming."
