"It was a great trip! Location was superb and there is a buggy out to the main road (but not back - 5 min walk). Service was top notch. Rooms are fairly clean- but finishings slightly dated (ie green rust on toilet holder, shower head) - signs of wear and tear. What I didn’t quite like was that villas were only fitted with blinds. Hence allowed light to stream through/ not total black out. The blinds also made me feel slightly paranoid if the rest of my party could look in. "

"Everything was gorgeous there. Room was spacious, pool was clean, garden was well-maintained, bathroom was big as well. Breakfast has many options and delicious. We had dinner at our room. Villas are great but pool was very slippery and no hand rail to get out/ in Breakfast was good, room cleaned while we’re having breakfast in their onsite restaurant which was handy. "We stayed at Desa Potato Head and it truly exceeded every expectation. We originally booked the Sunrise Studio, but upon arrival we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Garden Suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture and set the tone for the rest of our stay. What stood out most was how warm and genuine the service was. Every staff member we encountered, from the buggy driver to the pool staff to the reception team, was consistently welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A special mention to Yogi, who assisted us throughout our stay and genuinely made us feel taken care of from the moment we checked in until we checked out. His sincerity and attentiveness really made the experience feel personal. We also truly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. Upon check-in, we were given reusable tumblers to use throughout the stay since the hotel does not use single-use plastics, and we even got to bring them home. It’s such a thoughtful and meaningful touch that reflects their values. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and were continually delighted by the small details, from complimentary jamu shots to fresh fruit and papaya or watermelon ice cream. These gestures may seem small, but they made us feel genuinely cared for and added so much warmth to the experience. Everything about the hotel—the atmosphere, design, energy, service, sustainability mindset, and people—made this stay incredibly memorable."
