"Bare bones room. No heat. Only one blanket. Pillows were lumpy. Floors on bathroom were sticky from?? Daylight visible around door when it was shut and locked. No grab bars or anti-slip mat in tub. No power to electrical outlets where I would have plugged in my charging cords. Bedside lamp had no power due to electrical outlets not working. BUT front desk staff was very nice and friendly. Would I stay there again? Maybe…if I arrived very late and was only staying for one night. The price was right. "

"So happy this affordable option is available. Saves us a lot of money over other nearby hotels and is good enough for a bed for the night. Beware though, some rooms are directly over the pub, which plays teenie tunes on weekend nights I guess. It’s great to have in-house fine dining, the English pub, and basement pub/microbrewery. All are super-great and you don’t even have to leave the hotel! It’s a unique set up that ads to the appeal of the place. Limited but gated/secure parking in the rear. It’s an old hotel and has a very nostalgic feeling which is cool. Hope it stays that way. "
