Every morning, a chef prepared authentic Jamaican dishes, which made me feel truly immersed in the culture. The rooms were clean, and I was grateful to receive an upgrade to a larger room with a balcony. "I loved every part of this uniquely styled bed & breakfast stay. This was in a very secluded and safe neighborhood, the people in the area all seemed like they were middle to upper class citizens, and that I loved about the area. The food that was prepared for us was so delightful and healthy that I literally had seconds. Also the communication between the host and myself was quick and responsive. I loved everything about this villa."

"The apartment itself was clean. The check in was easy. There is a man on the property who helps and gives you the keys. My first issue was the pool. The pool was out of order like not a drop of water in the pool. I was told “oh it will be ready next week”, which I wouldn’t be there for. I’m on vacation it’s my birthday, I filtered places with pools and boom I pay get there, and there is no pool ? Absolutely set my trip off completely wrong. "It appears that after Hurricane Melissa Jamaican resorts hired the best marketing team with top quality cameras to attract tourists. The food was mid, the amenities were acceptable to an extent and my room looked nothing like the photos. Culturally, the staff that I encountered were rude and seemed to not understand that without tourists they would not be employed. Getting assistance from most staff appeared to take an act of Congress. In contrast, there were staff that were accommodating...

"Stayed at Hotel 39 for my weekend in MoBay. The ocean view room didnt disappoint.The breakfast was included and was pretty good. The servers were polite and always checking on you. I had a manicure done there and the service was great. Left my phone charger and they kept it for me until I left the island the following week. I was so appreciative. Walking distance to Margaritaville Club 2727 and Pork Pit. Hubby and I will definitely return."

"I didn't like the stay. The bed was extremely hard. Ther were no real amenities to use. The staff was not accommodating at all. They wouldn't clean your room nor empty your trash unless you asked several times. many of the meals were not very good."
