"This hotel is the best in the area for its convenient location, clean room amenities and friendly staff. This is one of the few hotels in my 25+ years of experience traveling around the country that has it entrance door locked at night for patron's safety. Patrons can scan their room cards to gain entrance though. I'll definitely stay here again if I travel near the area in the future."

"For the price and location, each room should have its own microwave. Currently, there is only One Small microwave in the lobby, which is used by all guests. Also, there is no continental breakfast. The purchased breakfast has a limited menu with only a few options."

"Horrible experience and will never go back. I could say more but would not want employees to lose jobs over this. The owners need to fix the mess that was created. I have been traveling for work the last 22 years and this is the worst experience I have had."

The only downfall or complaint was for my wife who thought that the exterior door where everybody seemed to be smoking, was covered in nicotine stains on the door handle and on the glass, she let the front desk know, and they said they would handle it. "Pros: closest to Mayo Clinic hospital and restaurants, some of the staff very helpful. Cons: area does not feel secured, no staff or security available at night. Hotel is an extended stay so you never know who is next to you. Lots of fights and screams from other rooms. Unable to sleep at night due to dogs barking, arguments and fights all night. "It's a no frills place, but it was clean and comfortable and the location is convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than the "continental" that's advertised. Overall, a pleasant experience and good value."
