"The perfect position in the centre of the city. Shops and restaurants close by. Relish Cafe a few doors down under the chemist warehouse has lovely food for lunch and a delicious breakfast. The guys behind the counter were very helpful and up for creating what I asked for"

"I always try and stay here when I’m in Wellington but wow the property is starting to age. Tiles coming away in the shower, damaged sinks, frayed bedding and damaged carpets at entryways and stains everywhere. It really needs an upgrade already. Not worth what they charge anymore even though the location is amazing and the overall vibe is still awesome. "

"The bed wasn’t great. Had a ‘mattress topper’ that constantly slipped during the night because it seemed to be too small for the bed, which was annoying. On 2nd night I wanted to remove it and revealed a very stained mattress underneath. Everything else was ok. If I’d booked a more budget friendly place I’d have been perfectly ok with it, but we paid a lot to stay here for a bit of a treat so it felt a bit disappointing that the room was so average. "While the room and the property was decent enough, the shower in the bathroom was filthy. We ended up scrubbing the walls of the shower ourselves, cleaning off layers of mold and mildew. We never had the chance to discuss it with the front desk as it is really tough to find anybody at the front desk anytime we walked through the lobby. Other than the shower the rest of the room seemed to be decent enough."

Clear glass doors that didn't shut properly, and the shower has curtains that didn't stop water from getting everywhere. We were also on the ground floor and got a bit of noise from the cafe. "Easy check-in, very comfortable large quiet room with kitchen facilities. No parking on site but a good value parking building 100m down the road. Great location for central city attractions."

"Great location but no reception desk. They got my email wrong so we had no idea how to check in or where to park. Parking was expensive. Construction going on so foyer and lift a bit dirty. Loose tap and leaky shower hose. Bed was ok but sofas weren't. Had no milk so bought our own."
