"Pods were small but enough room to fit small luggage in and perfectly comfortable for sleeping and the aircon was very effective. The bathrooms seemed like they were regularly cleaned and there was always a dry shower cubicle available when I needed one. Having the area downstairs to sit and relax was nice and freely available ice cold water was great on a really hot weekend. The QR codes for access were a bit temperamental and sometimes took a few tries but that was the only minor issue."

"Great location to easily walk to all the area attractions, historic sites and shopping. Family room is a cool design but tight for a family of 4 with luggage. Glass shower and bathroom needs be more private for a family space, other than that we really enjoyed our stay!"

"Although our room was very small, it worked for us for the 8 nights of our stay. We are grateful to the staff who immediately took care of the few requests we made ( wash cloths, ice, and extra towels). Since the room was so small we would have benefitted from having 1-2 hooks to hang towels and a soap dish in the shower. We also let them know the shower clogged after 1-2 minutes in the shower."

"Lovely location. Room a bit dated and not always in a charming or characterful way - e.g. brown patterned carpet, likely from the 1980s.
At check out I was asked for a 15 pound a night “tip” or service charges and to cover lobby and door staff! I felt awkward asking for it to be removed from the account, but really at 250+ a night I expect staff to be part of the deal. Is tipping at hotel really to become a normal thing in London?"

"Great property close to the train station that is connected to the ExCel center (trains, not the hotel). The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and the staff goes above and beyond!
My room was large with a huge window seat where I could relax, get work done or just read a book while enjoying the view. "Great location. Convenient access to three different underground stations. Right in the theater district, and close to covent garden, which was a cool place to grab a beer and watch some buskers. "If you want a good location and do not care about sunlight, lugging your belongings up flights of narrow stairwells, an unexplained putrid smell, cheap springy mattresses, lack of bathroom shelves, dark surroundings, views of bricks walls (not the advertised park), a non-responsive host (we blew a kitchen fuse by operating the toaster at the same time the lights were on!), questionable art & dark moody wall colours then this place might just be for you!!
