"We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our trip and were glad we chose this hotel. Having visited Singapore several times we wanted to stay in a more traditional and authentic neighbourhood. "Old hotel. Thin walls, can hear neighbour’s conversations loud and clear. Housekeeping is abysmal. Of the 7 days we were there. There was only one day that housekeeping cleaned the room properly. "The hotel room was clean and house keeping is very prompt. The make up service was fast and bed chamber man was paying attention to details. Good job by the bed chamber man on level 3 for dates 10-13 March 2015. We were happy coming back to a clean room after tiring days out in the city. However this hotel is overall not too suitable for younger children due to "loud & noisy activities" in the neighbouring rooms. "

"#33 bus stops very close to the hotel (1 minute walk). Supermarket is 1 block away. Lots of restaurants and one small food center in the area. Water pressure was fine and water was hot enough. There was no laundry facilities in the hotel while it says so on the website."

Unremarkable when it comes to hospitality
"During my stay at the hotel for two nights, I found the overall experience to be rather unremarkable when it comes to hospitality. I was not impressed. I didn't feel that they went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. The amenities on lounge access offered were poor and not worth to consider. It was a functional and adequate accommodation, but I left without any lasting impression or desire to return in the future."
