Location is really good. So many food Allie. Easy public transport
Very convenient and enjoyable to stay here with family.
Good location and the room was clean and the bed was comfort. Staff are very helpful.
It was a quint area with food available within a short distance.
Cheap budget hotel but clean and quite I’d stay again.
I lived the unique details in the hotel and room decor
Overall decent quality hotel and reasonable value. The location would be difficult for anyone that didn't know Singapore somewhat, but we did. The pool on the roof was nice and quiet, but would not be able to take a crowd well. As a guest, we needed to ask for things, rather than them being anticipated ...
Like: Cheap, conveniently close to Airport, clean Dislike: Too small, asked for a pair of scissors but was never delivered to my room
Singapore’s East Coast is among the island’s quieter areas, boasting a predominantly residential landscape. It isn’t the topmost tourist destination in Singapore, although it is often frequented by tourists travelling to and from Changi International Airport. The district still features some fun things to do, especially when it comes to makan!Don’t Miss
The beaches along the East Coast of this busy island make a good setting for a weekend picnic or some family fun cycling around East Coast Park. It is also possible to try wakeboarding, kayaking and a range of other water sports.
Behind the East Coast beaches lays the district’s best parkland. Boasting many kilometres of palm trees, jogging tracks, picnicking areas and playgrounds, this green space is the largest and most visited park in Singapore. There is even rollerblade and bicycle rental, so guests can explore the entire park with ease.
For a more historical experience along the East Coast, tourists should take a stroll through Joo Chiat’s heritage streets. The line upon line of old shophouses still operate as restaurants, cafés and handicraft shops, offering cooking classes, dining, art classes, and shopping for visitors. It is easy to spend a few hours here.Restaurants and Bars
If there is one thing that puts the East Coast above the rest of Singapore, it’s the range of cuisine on offer. Seafood is a very popular fare within the district of East Coast. No Signboard Seafood restaurant is one of the best spots to enjoy Chilli Crab, Black Pepper Crab and mantou. You’ll definitely want to enjoy some delicious laksa out here. Several famous restaurants along East Coast Road have been serving this dish for decades.
There is amazing food in Geylang, especially authentic Malay food at a cheap price. There are some bars and spots to enjoy drinks along Geylang, East Coast and Joo Chiat as well..Shopping
Several malls operate within East Coast, thanks to the district’s large residential population. 112 Katong is one of the newest malls in the eastern region of Singapore, boasting plenty of upper-class stores. Kallang Leisure Park is also a great place to shop, as plenty of entertainment facilities are found here too, including a bowling alley and ice-rink. Don’t forget to shop at Geylang Serai Market. This two-story mall offers market-like products at very reasonable prices.
