The Floris Hotel is a well maintained b and b very near to the central station and close to excellent restaurants and good shopping . The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean, with firm beds. The 12 Euro breakfast buffet was adequate, with very good cappuccino.

The location was excellent, within relatively easy walking distance of Gare du Nord. The common room area was much appreciated as an alternative to sitting on one’s room.

The room was clean. Some of the walls for the quadruple room need to be repainted. We came high season so paid a very high amount for maybe furnishings befitting of a Courtyard Marriott. It’s on a major street which helps with pick up and drop off with shuttles. It’s near a metro so you can choose to walk or metro. My only 2 complains are that it’s in a quite dilapidated building. The 2nd and 3rd floors are quite scary under construction from the outside. Also it does have an elevator that fits one large suitcase and maybe 2 skinny people.. but before you get to the elevator, there’s several landings with anywhere between 2 steps to 8 steps before you reach the elevator… so plan accordingly with large luggages and mobility.

This hotel is one of the best in my life ( and I stopped in more that 150 hotels in my life) ! Location is great! Staff is very helpful and friendly; room and bathroom are comfortable with everything what travelers need and more ( like extra pillows, shower caps, good shampoo and soap). You could walk to most all tourist attractions if you like to walk ( 1-2 miles away) or you could use metro station that is around the corner. Love this place and will keep it on my short list for future trips to Rome.

Hotel is on very good location, close to Trevi fountain and metro to Vatican. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful. Building is old with small elevator. Pillows could be replaced with new ones.
